Chairmont Capital Pty Ltd (Chairmont) has developed a suite of Intellectual Property (IP) assets in relation to Aspire > and its core business processes, amongst many other things. To protect the value of those processes and innovations, Chairmont and related parties have been granted patents in Australia and overseas.  These patents are:

• Australian Patent Nos. 2005 265435 & 2006 203531

• New Zealand No. 555237

• United States of America Patent No. 7,970,700

Chairmont’s patents give us the exclusive rights in Australia and the United States of America, during the terms of the patents, to exploit the inventions and to authorise other persons to exploit the inventions. These rights include the use of the methods or processes claimed, or to make, hire, sell or otherwise dispose of products resulting from such use. Chairmont's patents form part of a wider strategy that has been adopted by Chairmont in consultation with its lawyers and patent attorneys to protect its IP.

Chairmont currently has a limited and selective licensing program, whereby it is prepared to license its IP on reasonable commercial terms to third parties interested in offering, funding or processing its Home Loan Investment Plan product which fall within the scope of its IP, including Chairmont's patents.
